Hello, girlie girls… I hope you are enjoying the last of our summer months and I hope you are doing everything you can to make it last. I know I am. It is sad that we will soon be putting away our bikinis, short skirts, sundresses, and sexy sandals to don clothing that covers our entire bodies, and in layers at that! If you are dreading letting the summer go as much as I am, one thing you can do to keep a fleeting piece of it alive is to keep your sexy skin as smooth and tan as possible for the next few months. Interested? Of course you are. Here are just a few ideas I have for making my summer skin last as long as possible.
First things first, take care of your skin. For body, a basic three step system can keep you silky smooth. To look and feel its best you skin needs to be cleansed, exfoliated, and moisturized. There are a lot of products out there that come in sets, if you choose to go with a set you get the added benefit of layering your scent which will help you smell as sweet and delicious as the wonderful fragrance your set comes in all day, or night… hehe.
Next is tanning. As it gets cooler, you are going to have to venture into the realm of sunless tanning. Now, because you started with a good skin care plan, your skin is well exfoliated, which means it is free of dry flaky skin and it is well moisturized, which means it will drink up the tanning lotion you apply.
I do hope you plan to keep those sexy tan lines into the fall. They are so provocative and add to the mysterious appeal of what lies beneath. So, I recommend putting on one of your black or dark colored bra and panty sets. It doesn’t matter what the garments are made of (although I won’t risk a permanent shine on my silk) as long as they are dark in color to avoid staining.
I also recommend wearing the same set each time so you have perfect, even tan lines. Once you have your little bra and panties on, it’s time to apply.
I suggest following the basic instructions that come with the product you choose for application. Not all products are made the same, so take a look at the specifics before purchase to make sure you are up for the task. That being said, I do have a few tips to offer.
Use a sponge paintbrush, or a back scrubber with sponge, to apply the lotion to your back. It’s pretty hard to reach your own back and it is important to keep the application even, so using such a tool will help. Only use sponge brushes when applying lotion. If you are using a spray on tan, use a baby whip to apply it to your harder to reach areas. Make sure you rinse the wipe well first to remove all of the baby wipes juice.
Wash your hands immediately after applying any sunless tanner, or better yet wear gloves. Finally, keep an eye on your elbows, knees and knuckles, they tend to darken and you might want to blot them before they are completely dry. Finally, do not get dressed until your sunless product is completely dry… to speed up the process a bit and kill some time, dance around your place in your pretty black panties!
