I was an extreme tomboy for most of my formative years.
So much so that it was a very, very long time before I even wore feminine things unless I was made to. I used clothing to project an outward representation of what society said was ok for my behavior & interests, which meant I 
was dressed as a boy even though I found the fabrics rough, the styles uninspired, and the colors boring. Once I stopped listening to people who say girls can’t do this, women can’t do this, I did what I wanted anyway, and I did it wearing whatever the hell I liked.
What I like is satin, lace, nylons, velvet, and silk.
These days I have a fetish for lingerie and I adore dressing up (particularly in retro-inspired, bohemian chic, and steampunk ensembles). For many years, I dressed for the role of tomboy so that my actions would pass without much comment. Now I dress for myself, and anyone who takes issue with a dressed to the nines Goddess that can still kick ass is welcome to feel the sharp end of my stilettos where the sun doesn’t shine.

I’m late bloomer as well!! Women’s clothes are so much better then guy clothes! I’ve started to wear leggings/yoga pants/panties/bras/boots/clogs/mules/women’s sweaters/dresses. I’ve started clean diet not just to lose weight but to ft into women’s clothes better Guy clothes are boring and they Aren’t comfortable at all especially the underwear. Only thing is I’ve started becoming friends with women and they don’t know of this :0 🙁

I love this window into your growing sense of Self, Ms. Lilly. As one who knows you personally and has *seen* you in those magnificent silk and satin corsets, I definitely admire that feminine side of you. But, I also hear your early pushes to be less of a “tomboy” and more of a girlie-girl… that can be challenging at times, can’t it.
