The Glamour of the 40s and 50s

Are you one of Miss Viv’s daytime callers? You are? Then you know that I’m a big lover of most anything from the 40’s and 50’s. The music, fashions and especially the movies with big production numbers, featuring the most beautiful women of the times, are just a few reasons I love those eras.

Today, in the wee hours of the morning I settled on an old classic, Moon Over Miami. It was the hay days for perfectly coiffed hair, red lipstick, and the new patterned knit dresses that were just the right style for Techno Color.  What struck me most, as I watched Betty Gabel lead another conga line across the dance floor, is how much FUN everyone had back in those days.

Sissy Fashion Inspiration: Fabulous Gowns and Period Pieces

My darling cross-dressers and frilly sissy gurls aren’t far from my mind when I’m watching any film with great costuming. Fabulous gowns or period pieces can overcome any trite or silly plot and will keep me glued to the TV, daydreaming of slipping some fabulous Edith Head creation on your soft and silky body. These films should be your sissy fashion inspiration as you aspire to be your most beautiful, glamorous self.

Thinking along those lines I have compiled a list of 8 movies that I feel really sparkle in not just the design department, but also for the graceful femininity played to the hilt, on the big screen.
