Summer Sissy Beauty Tips: Part 1

1. Lips need protection from the sun, too. Use an old toothbrush with soft bristles and SPF infused lip balm to gently exfoliate. As an added bonus it makes your lips look puffy and rosy so afterwards lipstick application glides right on.
2. If you have oily blemish prone skin try a lightweight sunscreen that is oil-free or powdered and say goodbye to greasy skin.
3. Switch your foundation from a liquid to a powder. Glow without feeling like you are melting under the sweltering summer air.
4. Can’t make it to the beach this summer for vacation? Use Epsom sea salts for the tub to soak away stress, sweat and make you feel revitalized.
5. Baking soda is great as a natural deodorant. Sprinkle some on under arms and anywhere else you want to feel fresh and clean all day especially good for feet as well.
6. Ice packs aren’t just for pains and sprains. Take a few in the car with you to cool down while you wait for the A/C to kick on.
7. Stay hydrated. Even if you don’t feel thirsty that doesn’t mean you don’t need a cool swig of water; add a squirt of lime and chopped up strawberry, kiwi and or cucumber in a tea infuser for a nice light flavor.
8. Always carry around a personal portable fan with extra batteries in your car to have at hand for outdoor adventures. Vintage ornate hand fans are cute and practical as well. This will keep your sissy makeup from being a smeared, melted mess.
9. Smooth skin is always in fashion.
10. Use a dead sea mud mask to perk up those pores and add a tea tree toner and moisture with a light oil free moisturizer like aloe to beat the heat.
