Makeup 101 with Ms Claire

I have always loved experimenting with makeup. Each new eye shadow or lip gloss seems to hold the promise of beauty, glamour, and allure. Being a genetic girl, I have never felt any social stigma for my love of makeup. I have spent many, many hours creating new looks and learning new application techniques.

But as a sissy, you didn’t have that stigma free opportunity, did you,  dearheart?

For those of you who are drawn to new cosmetic collection releases like I am, that had to have been very difficult for you.

However, that time is past. You are with me now, and it’s time to explore!

You are going to ignore what society says is acceptable for you. It’s time to indulge in the harmless pleasure that you have denied yourself for so long. You, my angel, are going to go makeup shopping.

For your first foray into the wonderful world of cosmetics, you are not going to go spend a lot of money. There’s no need to go to a department store cosmetic counter and get overwhelmed by the breathtaking array of available products and shades. You aren’t going to get bogged down in knowing how to use this, what brush to use for that, or how to find the perfect shade of foundation for your skin tone. Sissy Makeup 101 is about experimentation and having fun.

You are simply going to go to the nearest economy/dollar-store type of place. You are going to buy the following items:

a) Mascara
b) Blush
c) Lipstick or lip gloss
d) Nail polish
e) Nail polish remover

My local store has brands that range from very, very cheap to drugstore brands like L’Oreal. Buy whichever brand your change purse allows. (We don’t carry wallets now, do we, darlings?) and whatever shades call out to that girl in you.

You will then use your new stash to make yourself look beautiful. If you are hesitant and need inspiration, you can always read one of our sissy makeup guides or a sissy makeup tutorial to help you get in the girly mood. After you have done so, pictures are a must! If you aren’t comfortable showing your face, that is fine. Just take a picture of your painted nails, or your kissable lips.
