Hello, poppettes! Miss Viv here and I’m excited that more entries to the 5th Annual Sissy School Beauty Pageant are getting posted, and that you darling girls are starting to get in the spirit!

Search for The Perfect Ensemble

A favorite lady friend of mine has been very busy in preparation for our yearly contest. She and I have been pulling outfits and cleaning out the closet in search of THE perfect ensemble for her first pageant experience. Not quite knowing which categories would fit this lady’s style, we are trying on everything and taking LOTS of pictures.

Makeup Instruction

Our sissy phone sessions have been very productive so far, and we are moving forward with makeup instruction, working in stages and adjusting her cosmetic purchases to be more becoming to her coloring and wardrobe. Being mindful of how the camera can wash out the most perfectly turned-out woman, we are using well blended and vibrant colors are sure to add pizzazz to this beauty makeover.

Today’s sissy phone session began, as all of Miss Viv’s makeup sessions do, with a fresh canvas – a clean and moisturized face. Correcting some ruddiness near the cheek and chin with amber hued foundation and a light dusting of translucent powered gave her a youthful and dewy complexion.

With a touch of soft rose blush to compliment her lavender blouse and a glossy wine lipstick, even without eye shadow, she was near picture perfect!

Our next step and upcoming sissy phone session (with cam – we use Skype!) will focus on her eyebrows and sparking blue eyes. Correct color selection, along with a light hand, will enhance and call attention to her most alluring feature. Toss away old and out-dated cosmetics, especially any mascara you’ve had in your vanity more than 2 months.
